what else?....

O my goodness....
It has been a trying year already.
It has been one thing after the other around here;
We have illness that is STILL lingering around here,
Briar has had a bad rash or something and 2 different doctors have gave 2 different diagnoses,
 with no treatment.
{ I think it is finally starting to clear up}
Then he went and played church ball and got the ball kicked into his finger,
so we had to go get x-rays on his finger and hand,
{just a bad jam thank goodness}
Now Cloe has a bad rash on her face that is blistering.
The doctor thinks it is an allergic reaction to something.
We just have no clue what.
So...
2 different creams and some medicine for 15 days.
Really?!
All I can say is....
BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!
I'm tougher than you think!

On the up side;
We all started Insanity last night,
{gonna get rockin bods}
 ;)
 and...
 we've managed to have a little family fun and laughs.
I watched some crazy tv with the older 2 till 1 in the morning Sunday
WOW!!!
 They were so dumb yet... so funny!!

and that is our last week or so in a nutshell.
No pics....
Cloe is embarrassed about her face.
{she thinks she looks like a zit face}
lol

Cheese.................. :)

Tay decided that she was bored yesterday,
 so....
Her dad should go take her pics. just for fun.
{In the cold}
BRRR!
Cloe quickly joined the fun and fixed her make up,
in hopes she would get her picture taken as well.
Since it was {Sweat Hearts} yesterday,
there weren't many available choices left,
Soooo....
we headed for the high school bleachers.
{here are a few that we got}

I have such pretty girls,
and they love to play in front of the cameras.

Next stop...
Somewhere for the little one to work some of her magic. :)

The laundry mat has some fun colored walls that I thought would be perfect for Iz.
And she worked her magic striking a pose the second we got there.
Ready and knowing exactly what she wanted to do.

    After a few pics. we headed over to Ice Cream Land
{Yogurt Factory}
  I had made a deal with Iz earlier that morning that if she could go all day without picking at her chapped lips we would go for Ice Cream.
This was a HUGE deal since she has picked her pore little lips pretty much raw. :(

Briar hung in the truck during pics, trying to recover from the Benadryl  I had given him earlier trying to clear up an issue he has developed.
Which I'm hoping isn't what Iz is now getting.
BLAH!!!
Anywho...
He was feeling pretty good and apparently pretty hungry
by the time we got to Ice Cream Land,
Because he not only ate his Ice Cream, but he finished Iz's
then wanted to try mine, an needless to say, I never got it back.
GRRRR!!!!
Dang boy anyways!!! ;)

We had a pretty good and productive day.
 A walk and bike riding was done while the weather was still warm.
Fun and chores sprinkled throughout the middle,
Then.....
We finished the night off with a movie, and laughed through 90% of it.

Good Day!!!

breaking point.....

At what point do you draw the line?.....
I know that we have to let our kids
make their own decisions,
fight their own battles,
 face consequences,
 deal with upset and trial.
BUT....
at what cost?
It is soooo hard.
I really don't like the power that some adults, teachers, and coaches have over kids.
{we have dealt with the best and worst of them}
And...
you know that if you say anything it will more than likely fall on deaf ears or make things rougher on your kid.
I am a very protective momma bear.
 I can hold back to protect and I can come at ya full force.
I HATE confrontation, so I loose tactfulness and just say it how it is.
I feel at a loss right now.
stuck on the line.
I know my kid has gone above and beyond what has been asked of them.
taken blow after insulting blow.
improved amazingly on a gift which was already there.
yet....
 it really doesn't seem to matter.
 GRRR!
Sometimes I really hate the power and authority we have given people over our kids.
So they can be the {best} or {something}.
I always said as long as your HAPPY!!
But what if what they are doing makes them happy but the people around them don't?......

a little bit of everything...

Its been a little different around here lately.
Not as much running, Ok....
still a lot of running,
but.....
a different king of running.
Kids are still busy, Tay has softball still and Briar is on a short wrestling break, but taking full advantage of it with friends and such.
In the mean time colds are still lingering and have now been passed to Tay and Aaron as well.
BLAH!!!
Any who this is whats been happenin in between.

We finally made it to the pool with Iz.
and...
she is getting a little braver. :)

We also got in the Valentine spirit a little.
Iz has been wanting to make ginger bread cookies since Christmas,
So.. we made heart sugar cookies instead.
{a cookies a cookie right!?}

many were eatin, but we still managed to save enough to share with family and friends!
 <3
Cloe had lots of fun preparing cards for everyone all week and also getting them ready for her class.
Briar  had a special Valentine this year.
{she posted this pic. on her f.b. wall}

He got her the bear holding roses and Hershey kisses.
{it had a bouquet of balloons, but they popped} :(
The card was sooooo cute.
On the inside he wrote.
"just when I thought it couldn't get much hotter...
I caught a glimpse of the farmers daughter."
{her family has a dairy and farm}
She LoVeD it!!
She got him a  big Hershey kiss that said
 "A KiSs from Me To YoU!!"
And of coarse he had it half eatin by lunch.
 <3
We prepared a fun Valentines dinner and visited then gave the kids their Valentine.

<3
the other night Aaron also gave Tay and Briar  a sewing lesson.
They both needed buttons sewn back on, so...
Aaron TaUgHt them.
So happy he believes in making them learn this stuff instead of me just doin it for them.

 Now.....
To try and get something done.
EVEN if its just catching up on my shows while I nurse my pounding head. :)
