Sunday we decided that we would attempt some back to school pictures after church.

It went good and we all had lots of fun

{maybe to much at times} 

It was difficult getting a group shot.

Briar was attempting to smile for pictures this time, and Cloe, well........... Cloe was Cloe.

 Today was a day of new beginnings for all of us.

  Taylor had her first day at the high school.

and ...... she likies.

we'll see how she feels tomorrow when 

the jr's & sr's are there to share the space.

Briar started jr.high

and thinks he is macho and cool enough to sit on the {9th graders bench}hehe ;)

Izzy is now our BIG girl and started kindergarten.

She was very anxious and independent.

she had many stories to share with us, 

as she would remember them.

And .....

I survived my first day to the new chapter in my life.

All my kids are now in school.

I managed to keep myself busy and the time went quickly till I got to go pick my girl up.

Hopefully tomorrow will go as good for us all as today did.

I have a few new things in the works to keep myself busy for a little while.

And its ME time.

Cloe is loving jr. Rokettes

she has 1 more practice before the game performance.

Taylor has enjoyed having the week off and is getting better and more comfortable with her driving skills.

Aaron and I are still chugging, but looking forward to a relaxing afternoon.

more beginnings.....

This week has more beginnings for us and chaos.

But..... for NOW I am still dry eyed.

Kids got their schedules, and transfers.

Parties, football, Rockette camp for Iz,

& she had back to school day this morning.

she is so anxious for school to start.

{back packs, new kids, & being a BIG girl} :(

Some of the many things she is excited about.

I am really trying to be BRAVE,

BUT.......

not sure how I will actually do when she walks into school the first day.

guess I better put on my BIG girl panties and be BRAVE for her. ;)

Deep Breaths..................

Firsts & lasts..........

 This last week was full of firsts & lasts.

Tay had her last tournament with the Sliders & Briar had his first football game of the season.

And can I just say they both were stinking AWESOME!!

Tays team went undefeated.

She had some nice plays and hits.

Sooooo PROUD!!!

 I missed Briars because they were both playing at the same time,

BUT......

Dad was there coaching and PROUD.

Briar had a great game.

He sacked the Q.B. twice, and played both ways.

 And my sweet little Izzy was pretty much an Angel.

She is very excited for football, and we were gonna miss Briars first game so she slept in his room, and this is how I found her the next morning.

It was a looong weekend but one that I am very proud of.

My kids are learning and accomplishing great things.

I hope they continue to follow and work towards all their dreams.

Lagoon.....

Saturday we headed to Lagoon for some fun family time.

It was lots of fun and much needed.
We started off with a few kiddie rides for Iz and everyone got in on the fun.

they had lots of kiddie rides for Iz and she had a BLAST!

She was also {Nervously} brave enough for a few of the big kid rides.

She asked me to take her on the tilt a whirl while the others rode the jet star.

No biggie right?....... wrong!

We sat in the center and tried not to spin,

but...........

we spun so hard and so fast we both got sick.

I could hardly get off the ride and Iz wasn't much better.

After that Iz wanted to go to Draculas castle.

Aaron and Briar took the car after the girls.

A few minutes in Iz said "I don't like this."

"Why do they have to make it so scary?"

after we made it out she looks at me and says "why did you pick that ride?!" lol

She also rode the big kid dragon ride and Bambora.

I think that might have been pushing it, but she did it and didn't cry.

I was so proud of her.

Aaron and Briar did the sky coaster.

Briar was all talk until Aaron paid for them, then he was nervous.

By the time Aaron pulled the string he was hooked.

We heard him ask if they could do it again as they flew past.

It was pretty funny.

They tried to convince Tay to do it, or the ball launch thingy, but she wasn't having any part of it.

Smart girl!

Although she had lots of fun on all the other coasters with the them.

The kids hung with us pretty much the entire day which was lots of fun and THEIR choice. :)

They even sat with Iz and took her on a few rides so that I could ride a few with Aaron.

I LoVe my kids. They are truly the best.

Half way through I sent Aaron and the older 2 to have some fun while Iz and I did our thing.

After we met back up with the others we headed for the log ride.

Yes.......

We ALL squeezed in together and had a BLAST!!!

Grandma C's

The other day we headed to Mantua to mow Grandma Y's lawn and visit.

Afterwards we headed to Grandma C's to visit, and the kids were able to play in the irrigation.

Now that is the funnest.

I remember playin in grandmas irrigation, it was always fun.

A very happy Tay came home with her permitt yesterday.

Aaron let her drive home even through 1100 S.

She's doing ok so far {except} pulling in the garage.

Makes us a little, ok...... A-LOT nervous.

I'll leave that up to Aaron to teach.

I guess now all we gotta do is read the rules and get her taught and hours in.

Man.... I REALLY miss drivers ed at the school.

Last night after errands and football we decided to make brownies, and Cloe got to lick the spoon.

She managed to get the spoon clean.

I wish I could say the same for her face.

lost tooth...

She finally lost her loose tooth.

It was pretty close last night.

 while we were finishing up the yard work this morning,

she says 

"mom I just lost my tooth!" 

I asked her if she pulled it out?

and she says

" No I just found it on my tongue!"

lol

She is so excited!

and

fascinated with the hole.

she keeps pushing her tongue through it,

it's pretty funny.

She's growing up so fast,

I am trying not to be sad,

and enjoy the time.

BUT......

She's my baby!

softball..........

Thursday we headed to Spanish Fork for the weekend for softball.

What a weekend....

Thursday she played at 3pm and lost 8-4.

second game right after and won 11-3.

both battling the storm that moved in.

 both games delayed, and we took cover from lightning. 

It was kinda crazy for awhile.

3rd game was at 8pm and won 11-3.

very happy tired girls, good thing they can sleep in.

next game wasn't till 3pm the next day.

I couldn't be happier because I had been battling a major headache all night.

The next morning I was still not feeling much better, and was feeling a little nauseated to boot.

So Aaron gave me a bunch of medicine.

Holy crap! 

I didn't think I could feel worse, but I did.

so we hurried and got ready and headed to 

IHOP for breakfast.

I managed to nibble on a little and after awhile it settled a {little}.

So we headed to one of the malls to kill some time before the game.

Anyways......

the next game they won, but I can't remember the score.

So..... 

we didn't have to play again till 10:30 pm.

Holy piss.

O did I mention we only had a room reserved for the first night?! 

so we spent the time between games finding a room. 

Along with the rest of our team.

We managed to find one in Provo.

It was way nice!

and tons better than the first one.

One of the girls had to go clear back to Salt Lake for a room.

Did I also mention there was a Baseball tournament there.

Yup Crazyness.

anyways......

They played a killer good game that night but ended up loosing 2-1. :(

the game didn't get over till after 12am.

and their next game was at 8 in the morning meaning they had to be back at 7.

The girls were so tired and it showed in the game they played hard but couldn't recover from their first inning, loosing 11-0.

it was a sad loss, knowing they could have beat that team under different circumstances.

That loss ended our weekend.

We headed for home, but not before stopping at Cabellas.

It was a fun weekend, 

even though I was sick the entire time. 

I spent the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday on the couch. 

Aaron did my shopping and running, and my parents took the kids for awhile.

So.....

Isn't this the saddest little face?! :(

Last week Izzy was at the neighbors house playing and when

I stepped outside to go get her to come home,

I found her walking home crying with ice on her arm.

When I got to her she started sobbing and told me the whole story.

"I got stung by a Bee!"

apparently, she was trying to help Rachel on the slide,

and then she felt something that hurt.

So she went to get there mom who gave her ice,

and sent her home to get some medicine on it.

It was so sad.

I got some bite medicine on it,

got a picture, 

then cleaned her face up 

and gave her lots of luvs and kisses.
