First comp. softball tournament is in Roy this weekend and its been a long one already.
I think it's gonna be a long summer. :)
Friday they played one game and won.
Saturday we played 3 out of 4 scheduled. {rain or shine}
we won 1 lost 2.
the 4th was rained out after waiting for 3 hours.
{bummer}
so.... now we play that game Mon. at 8:30 in the morning.
If we win we play on if not we are done.
This is what a day of softball from sun up to sundown kinda looks like.

 Tay is having fun on her new team and the girls have been very welcoming.
Last night on the way home Cloe told Tay
"I like your new team, BUT.... I really miss the BEES!!"
It was so cute.
The last game we played was against the slammers
who are the Brigham team and our friends.
When Cloe's favorite person on the Slammers
was up to bat she sat up and yelled
"GO KARLY!!!"
So funny and SO cute.
It made Karly smile.
Tays H.S. coach is the Slammers coach
and he was Very proud and haha about
her wearing her B.E. jacket.
Being on the Tremonton Sliders team and all.
It was a fun day and a heads up to what our weekends this summer will look like.

My Girls...

Last night Cloe had her first T-ball prac.
All went well and she did well EXCEPT the ball to the head.
She tried so hard to be tough and not cry, but she finally broke and came running. It hurt pretty bad her little lips went white and she cried hard, but some good loves and kisses from mom and dad did the trick. After awhile she was back out and rocked first base and had some nice hits.
She is very excited to start and has some really fun coaches.
{a few pics. from Briar}

Aaron was also able to get some pics. of Tay before she had to turn in her uniform.
He did an awesome job.
Here are some of my favorites.
{untouched}

 Softball 2011

I LOVE the freckles.
She is so stinking pretty I can't find a Favorite.
We are so proud of her accomplishments!
Go Tay!
XOXO

PLANKING!?!?!

 Last night the kids were on Facebook and Youtube
and came across Planking.
The weird stuff people come up with now days.
anyways...
In the fun of it all we decided to Plank at 10:00 last night.
It was so dumb and funny.
{here are a few of the pics. from it}

the one who started the craziness last night.

Followed by a very impressionable little sister.

The late comer.
&

The forever young one.

I think we will now check this off our dumbest things to do list and move on.

bad morning

 This NASTY thing caused Iz and I to freak out this morning.
He must have gotten tracked in on a shoe or something, all I know is when I returned home after taken the older 2 to school and saw him I freaked out.
I HATE worms.
He was not welcome and was NOT going to stay in my house.
I tried to suck him up in the vacuum but I was scared and he would stretch. {yuck}
and I was afraid he would crawl back out.
After many tears and freak outs, I remembered my sister was on her way in with her boy who doesn't mind worms.
So I called in panic and asked her to please come rescue us.
What a life saver.
He giggled at me and now I owe him a treat.
small price to pay.

{ Iz couldn't even look}

I see PURPLE

A couple of weeks ago the Softball team attempted to dye their hair PURPLE.
Tays didn't last to long, so she brought the bottle home tonight to redo it.
And of coarse Cloe couldn't be left out, after all she has been asking for years to dye her hair PURPLE.
Every time we got high lights she would beg for PURPLE hair.
{bleach is PURPLE so she assumes we are dying ours PURPLE}

Cloe was stinkin excited she kept giggling

Not to bad of an outcome for my lack of know how.
They were both very happy.

Cleaning day

This weekend I got the kids to stay home and help catch up on a few areas that have been lacking attention lately.
Which with our schedules lately seem to be everything.
It is such a rare occasion lately that I had to get proof.
Tay and Briars rooms were of top priority.
{closets and dressers}

excuse the finger, we can't seem to break him of it. He has done it his whole life.

Cloe loves to help with windows.
She got the step stool out so she could do it all by herself.
Inside and Out.
She even managed to find time to harass her brother a little.

She is such a character!

Last Game & Senior Night!
Love and Sadness Tay has become very attached to her seniors.
They were Sweethearts and will be Greatly missed.
Tay launched Kort's lantern.
& I missed it :(
She played a good game.
She got walked her first time up & a base hit her second time up.
She made it home both times starting at first.
{she can really book it}
Her fielding wasn't to shabby either.
It was a good game for the J.V.  team.
UNDEFEATED SEASON!!!

WE LOVE OUR TEAM!!!!

Puppies

 Lots of puppy love around here lately,
and thank heavens its not the kids this time.
BayLee had 5 puppies on Monday night.

 It's fun for now, but can't wait till they have new happy homes.

Flowers

Cloe has been wanting to plant flowers for awhile now.
So Aaron and I decided to get her a little kit so she could plant some seeds and grow them inside.
She mush have her grandmas green thumb because they look great and are big enough to be moved out to finish growing.
She has loved to watch them grow and take care of them everyday.
I think We'll be getting some more seeds and starting over.
Which is great for me.
So, this afternoon we took them out and gave them their new home.

Not bad right?!
I think I need to weed though.
maybe she'll enjoy that to if i am lucky.

Play day

"Oh mom you so have to blog this!" {Cloe}
SO... I am.
Yesterday we took the entire day and played.
We went for a walk around Pioneer park.
She is so fun to visit with.
And of coarse we had to take her baby Rapunzel.
She is gonna be such a good mommy.
Then we stopped of to play at the park for awhile.
She even took Rapunzel down the slides.

 Then after picking up Tay and Briar and getting them to their next stop,
we headed for our old church parking lot for some bike riding.
This is where she had a Blast!
and informed me this day and accomplishments had to be Blogged.
And she is right since this is how I document things now.
Cloe is learning the bike thing very quickly and enjoying it very much.
But.. she doesn't like it to much at our house because of the hills.
So we load her and the bike up and head to the church parking lot quite often anymore.
Wide open spaces are more fun anyway.
So... Yesterday she learned that speed is fun.
And that when she has enough speed she will coast longer.
{which she learned last time we went}
anyways yesterday she learned to take her feet off the pedals when coasting.
EXCITEMENT!!!

she also learned to ride with her eyes closed, and with just one foot, "and on her feet" as she says.

 She couldn't wait till her daddy got home so we could show him.
so, when he got home,
we headed to pioneer to show daddy and Briar what she had learned.
They were pretty impressed with her skills,
but we are all dreadding her first bad wreck.
She tends to stay away from things after a bad experience, so we are crossing our fingers that she will be tough.

Fun Times

This last week we have been busy playing and enjoying the sun and warmth every moment we get.
We took an afternoon and went to the skate park.
It was Izzy's first time and she had a blast.

{the worms were nasty though}
After wards we played a little ball.

{ 5 yrs. old and hitting at soft toss}
I think all the years of watching Taylor and Briar and practicing with Daddy are really starting to rub off.
She does pretty good at hitting, throwing and catching.
Bring on t-ball. :)
Taylor and Briar also got some practice in.
Tay worked on slaps and technique.
While Briar swung away.
They are all looking good.
Briar spent this last weekend with the Hardys.
Lots of riding and wrecking but loads of fun and no serious injuries.
Tay helped her dad and I in the yard all day. She is such a doll.
At the end of the day there is nothing better than relaxing around the pit with family and friends for hot dogs and smores.

Cloe was helping me get the fire started, and informed me that we don't need a lighter because if you rub 2 sticks together it will make fire.

I Love my 2 girls.
Seriously could they get any cuter!

The boys enjoyed some food after a long day of riding.
Too bad they got all stinky from the smoke after their showers.
And that's how we keep the girls away.

Cloe and daddy cooking up their smarshmellows.
This little girl loves her smarshmellows and daddy.
After dinner they all went in and watched "the movie The Ringer.
Funny movie.
but.....
now Cloe walks around constantly quoting the movie.
 for instance

GO FOR GOLD!!!
or
Hi! my names Glen.
or
" Should I wear my shirt Up or Down or Up or Down
OR.... Possibly Tucked In?
She is so stinkin Hilarious!
But... then again she has great teachers.
Yesterday we helped Tay on a language arts project that was due today. I think it turned out pretty good considering we waited till the last minute. Hopefully she gets a good score.

 Here is the project mid way through.
We were so happy to get it done so we could go to bed that we forgot to get a final picture. oops!

It was a fun week and weekend.
Full of softball games, motorcycles, bikes, bunco, Country dance on the Wii and playing.
Now on to another busy fun filled week with the family.
