ho, ho, ho.........

Santa or Kit?
That is the question Cloe has.

After a visit with Santa at Wal-mart Cloe walked away giggling.
According to Cloe, Santa sounds just like Kit.
He even has the same fingers.
She is so funny, and insistent on this.
She ran into Kit later in the store and confronted him about this theory.
He tried to convince her other wise and had some really good points,
But......
There is no convincing her.
What ever are we gonna do with her.
At least she keeps us smiling.

Gobble, Gobble

Yesterday was the Turkey Trot at Cloe's school.
So... here's how it works.
Each age group {grade} is divided into boys and girls, and then they have a race.
The winner of each group gets a TURKEY and 2nd place gets a PUMPKIN PIE!
And Cloe won!!!!!!
And her friend Justy {who is also in her class} won the pie!
The boy winner was also in her class.
Sound like their teacher had better stay on her toes cause she has got the SPEEDY class.
{there are 3 morning kindergarten classes}
I'm so sad I missed it.
But....
I got a pic. of Cloe and her 13 pd. turkey.

{she can barely pick it up}

Sundays

This Sunday was pretty peaceful.
Aaron had to work again and Taylor and Briar had reports to get finished so Cloe and I headed to Church alone.
Cloe had the Article of Faith and did a great job!
Aaron was home by the time we were out of church and we were able to have dinner as a family before having to get back to home work.
Both the older 2 were battling for dads help so Cloe and I worked on some spelling and practiced our roll making.
Cloe is quit the helper.
She got her own ball of dough to roll out for rolls and decided she wanted to turn hers into dessert.
So we mixed up some Cinnamon and brown sugar to sprinkle hers with.
I think she did a great job and they tasted yummy!

I think she is going to be a great little baker.

A little of this.... A little of that.......

Saturday had lots going on.
Aaron decided to work all day,
And Briar headed to a tournament in Spanish Fork for the day,
which left us girls.
So like any girl would do, we went shopping!
We hit lots of stores and got some good deals, before meeting up with Aaron after work for more shopping.
And I'm pretty sure that was their favorite because dad bought them both new boots.
My girls LOVE their boots!
as Cloe would say "Boots go with everything!"
I think she got that concept from Taylor who I know got that theory from her father.
After shopping dad treated us all to dinner.
While waiting for Briar to get home.
*
Briar wrestled AWESOME!
He pinned his first kid twice in the first period.
{the ref called a pin, that the other coach argued saying the were out of bounds}
so.... Briar stacked the kid with an arm bar in the next 30 sec.
The second match Briar won 6-2.
And the third match Briar won 12-0
Giving him 1st place and undefeated  in the Caleb Williams Tournament.

Gross......

I'm not sure what it is about this little stinker but she can say ANYTHING even if it's gross and still be cute and make us smile.
Last night, she was sitting on Aaron's shoulders while he was getting ready for wrestling practice, and leans down and licks his forehead.
When Aaron tells her "gross Iz I've been sweating!"
She proceeds to tell him "I don't care I like the taste of sweat it tastes like salt..............like boogers!"
WHAT!!?
that's just gross and wrong!
But....
So our Izzy!

Kisses!! <3

keepin it real....

Nights at our house can get a little crazy weird!
But....
that's what I love about our house.
If you can't have FUN and BE YOURSELF what fun is life?

And Cloe can always count on big brother playing with her.
Don't worry, I got a pic.

OK......
WORRY!!!!!
;)
And of coarse our girls.
nockin out the homework in the middle of the crazy!

Did you expect anything different from us?!

Family time....

Better late than never?!
About a month ago we took a family ride through Logan canyon
over to Paradise to check out the leaves and go to lunch.
Sadly the leaves were gone, but we still enjoyed the ride and Aaron had brought his handgun for us to shoot.
Once we were back in the mountains and had a clearing we pulled over and had some fun.

Love the shells flyin!

 Proud dad!!
*
  RELOAD!!!

After Tay and Briar got a few rounds Aaron and I got to play for a few minutes.
I love to shoot handguns!!!!

We trashed the can and had loads of fun.
{I even nailed it first shot}

Cloe wasn't as happy because it was very loud,
and.....
there were bugs.

Tay was trying to get a very strange looking bug off the windshield because Cloe was freaking out, thinking that it would come through the vents.
Silly girl!!!!

wrestling

Irving Middle School Tournament

Briar had his first tournament of the year up in Pocatello Saturday.
He wrestled well for only one week of practice placing 3rd in his weight bracket.
Helping the team take 3rd in the tournament.

This is a tough tournament.
We are the only Utah team at this tournament,
our team is 1 week in and they are all 2 weeks from state.
This is the best Briar has ever placed at this tournament.
And our team always places.
Great start Briar, looking forward to a great season keep working hard!

11-11-11

What better way to start TODAY than with the
PLEDGE of ALLEGIANCE!!!!

As Cloe and I headed down the sidewalk this morning she noticed all the flags our scouts had put in the front yards.
As we walked down the sidewalk she asked if we could say the
Pledge of Allegiance, and then asked which was her right hand?
Then, respectfully and flawlessly she placed her hand over her heart and recited the pledge of allegiance.
 *
I am so grateful for teachers that still recite the pledge of allegiance with their students.
I still remember having that privilege growing up and and will always be grateful.
