Computer time went a little like this today...

 Aaron has let Cloe start We Topia on his F.B.

So after school she gets on to play and of coarse...

She has to see who is on line that she can chat with.

Which happens to be me and Aunt Billie.

we had some fun little conversations that take an open mind and imagination to say the least...

She is learning to read and spell.

And like every kiddo, she spells everything she doesn't know just how it sounds. 

here are a few examples:

She is so fun and keeps us on our toes around here.

and no f.b. unattended is safe around here.

Cloe loves to talk with everyone.

I think most of us has been hacked by her at least once, and most people respond back with "Hello Cloe".

Cloe also learned how to tie her shoes yesterday and how to spell her last name today.  

She's growing up!

I have to admit, it's NOT the first time I've captured Aaron like this.

When we were younger and first married,

he had slipped his cowboy boots and cowboy hat on 

with his lounge shorts and t-shirt.

Apparently when your gonna shovel snow,

or just run out to feed your pupper dogs

ANYTHING goes.

Our little miss Cloe had a Birthday!!!!

6 years young and growing!!

It was a fun day!

Cloe had daddy for the entire day,

and many other visitors throughout.

When we ordered her cake her only request was 

that it had a monkey, hearts and her favorite color.... BLUE!

Stacy like always did an amazing job and Cloe was very happy!

  

While waiting for Tay and Briar to get home, Cloe and dad played with her new doll.

After School it was PaRtY time!!

Region 2012

Wrestling went by so quickly this year.

We are at the end of the season already with Region under our belt and State around the corner with Super State to follow.

It has been such a fun and exciting year with many accomplishments already.

Briar works so hard and we couldn't prouder! 

Saturday was Region at Mt. Crest.

Briar started the Day seeded #2.

his first match was against a boy from mt. Crest.

WIN by pin in 27 sec.

His second match was against a boy from Bear River.

A tougher match going into triple over time/ sudden death.

meaning first to score wins.

Holy Cow it was so intense.

{Briar said the kid was tough and long but not much technical skill}

WIN with an escape! 5-4

His third match was the championship match against Tien from Weber.

Briar wrestled him Wed. at their dual and lost at the end by 1.

Briar new it was going to be a tough but close match.

And it was.

They wrestled so good and close and could have gone either way many times.

One would score and the other would quickly answer back.

It was tied going into the third and in the last few seconds fighting for the take down Tein got it.

Loss 3-1

2nd Place!!!!!

Briar needed to calm his nerves,

and asked that know matter the outcome, 

he would be proud of what he had done.

So PROUD!!!

He had and showed great sportsmanship!

Aaron's coaching for Briar is coming to the end, as he gets ready to play freshman sports next year.

It will be bitter sweet!

I will gain a Husband, But..... Briar will loose his coach.

{Good thing Aaron's voice carries and I have earplugs}

Maybe its sitting in the high school parking lot painting your daughters toe nails before she leaves you for the day.

secret ingredients.......

O my Izzy girl.......

She makes me happy everyday!

She is always saying or doing something that makes ya shake your head and smile. 

Soooo........ here is our latest happy moment with her.

Over Christmas break Aaron, Izzy and I were deciding what to make for lunch, and she decided that she wanted her dads yummy assadillas.

Ya know the ones with the secret ingredient.

{LOVE}

So we asked the other 2 if they would like one.

Briar jumped right on it, and Izzy leans over to Aaron and says don't put your secret ingredient in Briars! 

{giggle, giggle!}

So we get them all made, and when Briar gets half way done with his Izzy looks at him and says,

{ giggling the entire time}

Does yours taste different?

He says no why?.....

{giggling again}

what did you guys do to it?......

Aaron says I licked the cheese.....

Briar of coarse then starts spitting it out and gagging.

I then dieing of laughter tell him they were kidding.

Izzy then proceed to tell him that dad left the secret ingredient out of his.

And bursts into Mischievous laughter.

I always worried about the age difference between my older 2 and Iz but she has learned to hold her own and dish out some pretty good harassment in the process.

Often making us giggle and shaking our heads in awe of what she comes up with.

She is a very smart and observant little girl.

But what can I say, she has had 2 great teachers.

OK..... 3.

Aaron has taught them all.

Whatever will I do?.....

That's right!

After all that's what is most important right?!

Christmas.......

 {Santa had left 3 gifts on the table that had to be opened first}

It was a very good Christmas and everyone was very happy with their gifts.

We were able to stay home and relax and enjoy the day together and play with all our new toys.

We got visits from grandparents and great-grandparents through out the day.

I am so grateful to live close enough to parents and grandparents.

And that my children will get to  grow up knowing and building memories with them.

This Christmas was our first without my grandpa Yearsley.

He was missed greatly, but honored and remembered in such a wonderful way.

We went with my parents, sister and grandma to decorate his grave and say LOVE YOU!!!

Then we went back to Grandmas to visit and exchange gifts.

Grandma had made each of her great - grand kids a memory box filled with some of grandpas things.

Tay's has a {Western Union Telegraph Company}buckle that was from {Tiffany * Broadway New York 1872}, a cuff link, a {Be Prepared} tie pin,  a {Purple Reign} softball pin, and a Watch.

Briar's has a {1987 World Championship} buckle that honored the drivers and teams in the 23rd annual cutter and chariot races in Elko Nv., a tie tack, 2 different knifes,  and an {Arrow of light scout pin}.

Cloe's has  a { Golden Spike 77-78 President} buckle, the matching cuff link to Tay's, a watch, and {Intermountain Unit} pin.

My kids are so Happy and so Proud. they share with everyone that comes around.
