Thats right.........
get off the side walks and out of the ditches people Tay is startin to drive.
Yesterday she took me, Tara and my mom around the loop in Mantua.
Shes not to bad except....
when she almost went into the ditch trying to go around a puddle.
Yes.... Scary I know.

We all made it back to Grandma Clawsons safe,
but.... a little traumatized.
I think maybe she should hurry and get her permit so we can send her with her dad to get some more practice.
Who knows......
maybe, just maybe it was all grandmas yelling, {lol}
 {she was telling her to go FASTER!!}

OR....
Me and Tara's playing in the back.

 Distracting?!
{maybe}
either way we had fun and she got prac.

FOOTBALL

Yup..... Its that time again.
And we can't wait. First prac. is Monday.
Its kinda a tradition/a girl thing maybe, that every year when Briar gets his gear, Iz has to model it at some point.
So....
here are this years pics.

Yes.. that is a soccer jersey, I guess she couldn't find his football jerseys.
She wants to be like her big brother and sister so much that she tends to say and do everything they do.
{Sometimes} that is not a good thing because she is only 5.
And other times it is a RIOT!

letters

It has been a week of memories, tears, loss, laughs, and family.
On July 27, 2011 our Grandpa Yearsley returned to his Father in Heaven.
He will be deeply missed but his memories will live on forever.
<3
We asked his 13 Great Grandchildren to write him a letter/picture to tie to balloons,
to be released after the services.
 It was a special moment for them to send their letters to Grandpa.
<3
I am so grateful for family and the knowledge that I have that we can all be together again.

A b C.....

Cloe was randomly writing her A b C's the other day to see what she could do all by herself.
{she likes upper case better, and relates letters to peoples names that she knows.}
Anyways our time and conversation went a little like this.
<3
she was struggling to know what she was missing so I was reminding her letters that she may have missed.
{N}?
let me see if my memory box remembers....... Nope! it doesn't.
{Q}?
O YEAH! that's the one like a magnifine glass, but the handle is on the side.
{T}?
O like Taylor! I LoVe that letter!!
{B}?
O like Briar!
{X}?
O i LoVe that one too!

Ok you have them all now!
What about next time won't you sing with me?
You can write that if you want to.
I don't know how!
Just write it how ever you want. {i know bad mommy}
Ok I'll write it in Spanish!
<3
I LoVe my conversations with her!
Always interesting and enlightening!
She is so excited to grow up,
but I am going to miss not having our {little} conversations.

family

Lots of laughs and fun are to be had when family gets together!
The kids are always doing the unexpected and keeping us entertained.
*
{here is Snow White getting the ever so famous apple}

 {NO!! don't eat the apple}

 {:( she ate the apple}

{the end}

&
here is our handsome cowboy in white

after the shows we headed out for some swimming.

 Briar gave each of the younger ones a toss in the pool. Remembering to be gentle with Iz since she still gets nervous.
{she is so not Aaron's when it comes to that. more me!}

& Tara couldn't escape the dunk she was about to get.
she should no better than to try to dunk Tay, she is a tough little cookie and won't go in alone.

They had lots of fun jumping, dancing and being crazy and even survived the few bumps they encountered when they hit the bottom.

and as our sun bathing kiddos say.....
PEACE OUT!!!

Little Vally Days Parade

Cloe and Caleb got to ride in one of the fire trucks in the parade with Grandpa Yearsley.
They threw candy,
{I think it was 4 bags in the first couple blocks, but thankfully grandma and grandpa know better and bought lots of candy and they had enough to finish the parade.}
they also ran the siren.
Cloe LoVeD that part and mimics it very well.
I got a nice demonstration of all the different sounds it does.
She had a blast!!

4 th of JULY

Tay and Briar hung with friends during the fireworks
so....
me, Aaron and Iz went to the High School with my family,
to watch the fireworks.
My mom ordered pizza and we sat to visit and relax while waiting
But...
that was short lived because the sprinklers came on and kept us moving.
Once we thought we were out of harms way and they had moved away we moved up and prepared for the show.
Until.....
just before it started they came back right in front of us.
So.....
here was our Country way of saving everyone from a drowning.

A bucket and a hay bail!
 *
The guys saved the night and we enjoyed the fireworks!

 Iz jumped for JOY!!
and I sat with my honey!! xo

{another} LATE Birthday post

Another TEENAGER in the house!!
Briar turned 13 this year and had a few friends over to celebrate.
And it was CrAzY FuN!!!!

How many people can you fit on a tricycle on a tree swing?!
{ I missed the ones when the boys where riding the tricycle while swinging}

Cloe LoVeS Briars friends and they are so good to her.
They all let her hang the entire time and also played dress up with her.
{INCLUDING the BOYS!!!}
They hung and ate then loaded in the back of the truck and headed to the FIREWORKS!!!!

dancing in the rain

The kids couldn't resist some fun and dancing when the last rain storm came through.
I LoVe moments like these that make lasting memories.

 {whoops!!}
 Hey now I'm Mary Poppins :)

Iz wanted to be Mary Poppins too,
so she was trying to flip her umbrella inside out.

  Briar was hoping that the wind would carry him up and away.
{ I think he was secretly wanting to be Mary Poppins too. ;) hehe!}

Maybe if he jumps it will help?!

& here's a few extras for fun!!!

I {LoVe} my kids FuN, CrAzY, EnErGeTiC {ZeSt} for life!!!!

Visit to Grandma B's

I have some major catch up to do, so here is post 1
*
The kids had lots of fun going to Aaron's parents to check out the new fish for the pond.
They watched and tried to find them all as they came out from under the rocks.
After the 2 newest ones had adapted to the water they got to release them.

  {here are the 2 new ones, the others are hiding in the rocks}
 Between playing with the fish they picked Grandpas {yummy} Strawberries
and
Shot guns.
*
{Someones in the berry patch can you guess who?}

 *
And what fun is it if there's not some healthy competition when shooting guns?!
Everyone got a target and 4 shots to see who could hit the best.
I do believe Aaron won! {no surprise there}
BUT......
The kids did pretty darn good too. They didn't loose by much it was darn close.
They have good and patient teachers thanks to dad and grandpa.

Does it get much better?!
