a little bit of everything...

Its been a little different around here lately.

Not as much running, Ok....

still a lot of running,   

but.....

a different king of running.

Kids are still busy, Tay has softball still and Briar is on a short wrestling break, but taking full advantage of it with friends and such.

In the mean time colds are still lingering and have now been passed to Tay and Aaron as well.

BLAH!!!

Any who this is whats been happenin in between.

We finally made it to the pool with Iz.

and... 

she is getting a little braver. :)

We also got in the Valentine spirit a little.

Iz has been wanting to make ginger bread cookies since Christmas,

So.. we made heart sugar cookies instead.

{a cookies a cookie right!?} 

many were eatin, but we still managed to save enough to share with family and friends!

Cloe had lots of fun preparing cards for everyone all week and also getting them ready for her class.

Briar  had a special Valentine this year.

{she posted this pic. on her f.b. wall}

 

He got her the bear holding roses and Hershey kisses.

{it had a bouquet of balloons, but they popped} :(

The card was sooooo cute.

On the inside he wrote.

"just when I thought it couldn't get much hotter...

I caught a glimpse of the farmers daughter."

{her family has a dairy and farm}  

She LoVeD it!!

She got him a  big Hershey kiss that said

 "A KiSs from Me To YoU!!" 

And of coarse he had it half eatin by lunch.

We prepared a fun Valentines dinner and visited then gave the kids their Valentine.

the other night Aaron also gave Tay and Briar  a sewing lesson.

They both needed buttons sewn back on, so...

Aaron TaUgHt them.

So happy he believes in making them learn this stuff instead of me just doin it for them.

 Now.....

To try and get something done.

EVEN if its just catching up on my shows while I nurse my pounding head. :) 

 

 

sigh........

I broke my babies heart for a moment today,

and wasn't sure mine would survive either.

She needed help on a picture and I didn't understand {listen} well enough and screwed up.

In frustration I snapped at her and wasn't very nice.

sending her into tears.

While loving her better, I thought about something I had read a few minutes earlier.

STOP.

LISTEN.

THINK.

THEN ACT.

to bad I hadn't remembered that before.

Lesson learned.

Cloe loves to write letters,

and then give them to everyone she meets.

She is one of the sweetest little things {EVER}

It is Aunt Tara's Birthday,

So ....

Birthday card it is.

Bransen gets a Get Well and Valentine card,

And

we can't forget her best friend Caleb,

he gets a Valentines card as well.

We have loved the cuddle and relax time we have gotten, 

but....

we really wanna be able to play and breath again.

Day off......

Ok..

your probably asking Isn't every day a day off ,

when your a stay at home mom?! {ha..ha..HA}

or..

 how a stay at home mom has a day off?!

well..

the answers are NO!!!

and..

I busted my butt all day yesterday to have a day off. 

well kind of a day off.

I only had a few chores today.

vacuum the upstairs and change the laundry.

Then..

PTC with Izzy girl @ 9.

Which went Awesome!

She is doing very well and her teacher loves her.

She even cried a little talking about it.

Cloe has an awesome teacher!

 After that it was whatever we wanted.

And we have done just that.

We did a little homework and coloring.

We have had computer time.

I sent Aaron a picture of this informing him that 1 computer must not be enough for her.

His response was that it's called MULTI- tasking!!

I liked that better. 

;)

We had a nice lunch together and more cuddles while I rubbed her sore arm.

YES....

After 5 minutes she was sound asleep.

Poor little girl is still recovering from all this sickness.

But..she is now wide awake and spending 

QUALITY teasing time with brother.

Now just waiting for Bundy to get home.

Because we have NOTHING to do tonight!!!!!!

That means we get to see each other.

I'm so excited... 

I feel like a teenager getting to see their crush.

sick days........

Cloe has been feeling a little under the weather lately,

So I made her a Doctor apt. Thursday,

but....

she insisted she was ok.

So...  against my better judgement I canceled it deciding that we would just give it the weekend to see if it would get better.

Things went ok until Sunday when she found me during class with a belly ache.

But she still insisted on staying and going back to class.

She loves Primary and school.

so Monday she woke up with a yucky nose but still I couldn't convince her that she should stay home and go to the doctor.

Tuesday comes along and she seems a touch better, so off to school she goes.

About an hour later I get a call from Cloe's school informing she is in the office not feeling well.

Poor little thing broke my heart when I saw her.

She had went from fair to BAD!

She could hardly stand up, or stay awake

and looked pale, with complaints of a bad throbbing headache 

and belly ache.

I got right on the phone and got her right in.

Results = 

101.7 temp. 

really bad sinus infection

and

infection all the way down her throat.

Meaning.....

 

Yesterday was.....

Tissues and coloring books

and lots of 

SNUGGLING!!!

And today.....

buckets and cartoons

O and

KISSES !!!
