This last week we have been busy playing and enjoying the sun and warmth every moment we get.
We took an afternoon and went to the skate park.
It was Izzy's first time and she had a blast.
{the worms were nasty though}
After wards we played a little ball.
{ 5 yrs. old and hitting at soft toss}
I think all the years of watching Taylor and Briar and practicing with Daddy are really starting to rub off.
She does pretty good at hitting, throwing and catching.
Bring on t-ball. :)
Taylor and Briar also got some practice in.
Tay worked on slaps and technique.
While Briar swung away.
They are all looking good.
Briar spent this last weekend with the Hardys.
Lots of riding and wrecking but loads of fun and no serious injuries.
Tay helped her dad and I in the yard all day. She is such a doll.
At the end of the day there is nothing better than relaxing around the pit with family and friends for hot dogs and smores.
Cloe was helping me get the fire started, and informed me that we don't need a lighter because if you rub 2 sticks together it will make fire.
I Love my 2 girls.
Seriously could they get any cuter!
The boys enjoyed some food after a long day of riding.
Too bad they got all stinky from the smoke after their showers.
And that's how we keep the girls away.
Cloe and daddy cooking up their smarshmellows.
This little girl loves her smarshmellows and daddy.
After dinner they all went in and watched "the movie The Ringer.
Funny movie.
but.....
now Cloe walks around constantly quoting the movie.
for instance
GO FOR GOLD!!!
or
Hi! my names Glen.
or
" Should I wear my shirt Up or Down or Up or Down
OR.... Possibly Tucked In?
She is so stinkin Hilarious!
But... then again she has great teachers.
Yesterday we helped Tay on a language arts project that was due today. I think it turned out pretty good considering we waited till the last minute. Hopefully she gets a good score.
Here is the project mid way through.
We were so happy to get it done so we could go to bed that we forgot to get a final picture. oops!
It was a fun week and weekend.
Full of softball games, motorcycles, bikes, bunco, Country dance on the Wii and playing.
Now on to another busy fun filled week with the family.
