Mrs. Moyers summer party

My kids have been very lucky, and all 3 have had great {K} teachers.

 But.... 

Mrs. Moyer truly goes above and beyond.

 Cloes {K} teacher was missing her

students so she sent out invites to her class {& family} for a mid summer party.

They were to meet at her house for sundaes and fun.

and Cloe couldn't have been happier to go.

She has missed her friends and loved teacher.

First they had yummy sundaes with all their favorite toppings :)

then it was a yard FULL of activities.

like I said..... 

she is AAAMAZING!!!!

there was a bean bag game:

 an obstacle coarse.

And...

who could forget all Mrs Moyers animals?!

Lots of LOVE

or...

Locks of LOVE ?!

I think BOTH.

Cloe and I have talked for a couple of years now about one day sharing her BEAUTIFUL long hair.

We thought about it really hard this last year, and decided to only have small trims, and then cut it at the end of summer and donate it to LOCKS OF LOVE.

Well....

 We changed our minds and decided to share it sooner.

  It was such an emotional decision that touched my heart in many ways.

What a gift to give at 6 years old.

I am so proud of her.

Cloe has always had a kind heart,

and wants to make others feel good.

Isn't she just the CUTEST!!!!!

1 month down already.

I can't believe it...... it has gone by way to fast.

But... we have also made the most of it.

football

t-ball

swim lessons

parks

drivers ed.

go karts

gardening 

painting

hair cuts......

 

It has been busy and fun, with lots of...

 

Laughs

tears

firsts

sweat

accomplishment

and hard work

 

We have 2 more months of fun like this to be had and hopefully I will be better about my blogging.

 

I have taken MANY pictures and noted MANY memories,

I just haven't had the time to write them down.

I can't possibly make up for all I have lacked, but some are {very} special and will get their own post. 

But.... We are still very much alive and trying to enjoy our summer as much as possible.

Today is a Wonderful Day....

Well it's happened.....

She has gone and done it....

My baby girl Graduated from Kindergarten.

:'(

j/k I actually made it through all of their cute program with OUT tears.

UNTIL......

They announced her name for the Principals Award!!!

{then maybe a few happy tears tried to make an appearance}

;)

 BUT.....

We were so Happy and So PROUD!!!!

She is such an Amazing little girl.

Now for the funny.

When I was going through the pictures, I asked Cloe what Erik's last name was......?

her reply:

Ummmmm....... Foreman?......

Yeah Foreman I think...... Erik Foreman!?

LOL!!!!

I just about died laughing.

I think maybe just maybe we watch a bit much of 

"That 70's Show"

 

 

Snails....

Snail hunting is the new fun thing.

Cloe and her little friends love to hunt them.

I love it too. ;)

Not snails, but the fact that they get them out of my flowers and yard.

Sometimes, they even dump salt on them .

pretty gross, but as long as they do it in the gutter, I don't care.

During this picture Cloe and I had a little conversation that went like this.

Cloe: "Mother look on the bright side"

me: "Bright side of what Cloe?"

Cloe: " The bright side of kindness"

lol....

Apparently only 1 friend over isn't kind enough.

And.... 

Although I need a lesson in kindness, 

She still loves me.
